Bio
Paul-David Lutz is a (former) rural development advisor turned ethnographer with a longstanding focus on northern Laos. He holds a PhD in anthropology from the University of Sydney and an MA in Intercultural Education from the Freie Universität Berlin. Paul-David's peer-reviewed publications discuss intergenerational aspects of agrarian change, socio-cosmological aspects of resource-riven development, as well as interethnic dynamics and oral history in upland Laos. He joins LAMC as postdoctoral researcher for the ERC-funded SeedsValues project, focusing on wet-rice cultivation in Luang Prabang Province, Laos.
