Journées d'Etude Genre et Sexualité sur le Terrain : Repenser la Postionnalité, l'Epistémologie et la Sécurité à travers les Prismes Féministes et Queer

Learning Theater & Usquare (Bruxelles)

Ces journées d'étude visent à questionner le fonctionnement, en action, du genre et/ou de la sexualité dans des situations de terrain d’enquête en sciences sociales.

Elles se concluront par une journée d'ateliers participatifs et formatifs afin d’apprendre à éviter, à réagir et à surmonter des risques et des écueils liés à ces expériences situées.

Elles se dérouleront en anglais et en français, la dernière journée seulement en anglais.

15h30 - 17h30 : Panel 2 "Trouver sa place sur le terrain : stratégies, positionnalités et intersections" en français

Mardi 12 mai, au Learning Theater:

Gender and Sexuality in Field: Rethinking Positionality, Epistemology, and Safety through a Feminist and Queer Lens

Learning Theater & Usquare (Brussels)

These study days aim to critically examine how gender and/or sexuality operate in practice during fieldwork situations in the social sciences.

They will conclude with a day of participatory and training workshops designed to learn how to prevent, respond to, and overcome risks and challenges related to these situated experiences.

The event will be held in both English and French, with the final day taking place in English only.
