Colloque international “Héritages coloniaux en Belgique” – 28, 29 et 30 janvier 2026

Nous sommes heureux d’annoncer l’organisation du colloque international “Héritages coloniaux en Belgique / Colonial Legacies in Belgium”, qui se tiendra les 28, 29 et 30 janvier 2026 sur le Campus du Solbosch (ULB), Bâtiment S, salle Somville. Organisé à l’occasion de la fin du projet HERICOL et de la mi-parcours du projet CONCILIARE.

Cet événement réunira des chercheuses et chercheurs belges et internationaux pour explorer les multiples dimensions des héritages coloniaux dans la société belge contemporaine, à travers des approches interdisciplinaires (histoire, sociologie, anthropologie, psychologie sociale, études postcoloniales…).

We are pleased to announce the international conference “Héritages coloniaux en Belgique / Colonial Legacies in Belgium”, which will take place on 28, 29 and 30 January 2026 at the Solbosch Campus (ULB), Building S, Somville Room. The conference is organised to mark the conclusion of the HERICOL project and the mid‑term stage of the CONCILIARE project.

This event will bring together Belgian and international scholars to explore the multiple dimensions of colonial legacies in contemporary Belgian society, through interdisciplinary approaches (history, sociology, anthropology, social psychology, postcolonial studies…).
